Volunteering has always been an important part of my life, especially with the New York Junior League where I was active for over 20 years. I held several leadership roles there, including communications associate (wrote content for newsletters and social media), secretary of the Management Council, and co-chair of the Sustainer Evening Committee. Most recently, I co-chaired the women’s golf league at Maplewood Country Club in New Jersey for three years, which involved organizing our member guest tournaments and working closely with the golf pros on our weekly games. I’ve met some of my closest friends through volunteering, and hope to make many new ones at the Destin Woman’s Club.
