The Destin Woman's Club is a
diverse group of women brought together by our desire to
meet new people, participate in fun activities and our
shared sense of commitment to helping others.
Our goals are simple...enjoy each others company while
finding ways to support the needs of a growing community.
We support the community in several ways including a
perpetuating Scholarship Fund at Northwest Florida State College
for qualifying women who strive to re-enter today’s
competitive workforce; the Family Fund which offers
assistance to area families in need; provide support to a
local charities; and the Fisher House, which provides
housing facilities for injured soldiers and their family
while they are going through the rehabilitation process.

Our March program will feature Merle Temple from Tupelo, Mississippi, is the author of the Michael Parker quadrilogy: Deputy, A Ghostly Shade of Pale, A Rented World, and The Redeemed. The novels are written as fiction but drawn from his experiences as a deputy sheriff, the first Captain for the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, a manager in the corporate world, and as a campaign chairman where he confronted the unholy trinity of politics, crime, and business.
